For this challenge Jill said : This topic is so broad ... it could simply be something like "Wish I didn't have that donut for breakfast" or "Wish I had spent more time with someone who has passed or let them know how you feel" .

The designers that are participating in this challenge are Ann Katrin, Issa, Stephanie, Kirsten, Debbi, and Tanya.

SY Challenge 3

Good Morning Readers!

Today is the day our first challenge is posted! I am excited to share with you our very first Design Team reveal here at Scrap Yourself.

The Topic for this challenge was chosen by Cindy

{SOMETHING YOU COLLECT}

Cindy Says
"When asked to come up this week's challenge I thought of THIS topic right away. I had been having coffee with a friend of mine not long ago and we got talking about things we have too many of-when I came to the realization that I had more than a few hooded sweaters (I thought I had 2 or 3. 4 at the most!!) I was VERY surprised to find I had TEN (2 of which have been purged and replaced, BTW!!) hoodies (5 of which were black!!). So my challenge for you is this: scrap about something that you feel compelled to hoard/collect. I know most of us hoard scrappy supplies at least. If you are NOT a hoarder/collector, maybe you can scrap about something you WISH you could collect.

I hope to have you participate with us in our weekly challenges.

Our Designers

My name is Zoa Barker and I have been scrapping for about 14 years now, it is my favorite hobby and most days my therapy! I have always been very passionate about art, and scrapbooking gives me the perfect outlet for expressing art as well as my affection for my family. My style is constantly changing, but you can almost always find flowers or lace somewhere on my page- I am a total Prima Junkie!! I also love painting, distressing, sewing and inking on my pages, and I use those techniques heavily in my projects.

I currently live in a small town in North Dakota, but my home will always be in Jax Beach, Fl where I was born and lived for almost 30 years. I am married to my best friend Matt, and we have 4 amazing kids, ages 3-11. We also have several extended family members, 5 cats and a dog... and the kids are also hoping to add a chinchilla to the Barker zoo soon!
When not scrapping or creating art, my favorite pass time is junk-tiqueing! I absolutely love going to yard sales, flea markets, antique stores and browsing for the perfect find... you never know what it will be!!

Hey all! My name is Susan Dupre. I am a wife and a mom of an adorable six year old boy named Hayden. I used to do interior design, but found it difficult running all over town to furniture shops towing a little guy around. Then three years ago I found another creative outlet through scrapping. I had no idea I would become so involved or love it as much as I do. Since I started, I have been fortunate enough to be on design teams for various manufacturers and to have been published in magazines. The exciting thing is knowing this is only the start of my scrapping journey. I am really thrilled to be asked to be a part of Scrap Yourself team. Thank you so much!

Hello from North Vancouver, BC. My name is Kirsten Heal, and I am 38 years old living life as fast as it's thrown my way. I am lucky to have a 7 year old son Braydon and a 6 year old daughter, Kaylee, who keep me running full time. My husband Chris and I have been married almost 9 years and he wonders when the paper obsession will slow. It won't!
I have been scrapping longer than I knew what it was called, went to another level when I had my son, and went into full blown obsession after my daughter showed up. I work full time too, so it's become my escape into creativity that has allowed me to stay slightly sane.
Very happy to be here at Scrap Yourself and capture more of the life that I am surrounded by.

I am Issa Virtucio-Lucido from Laguna, Philippines. I am a better half to Dodo who is an Aquaculturist and a scrapping mommy to Luis Lauro Antonio, 16 and Lucian Lorenzo Roberto, 6. After working as an Accounting Assistant and managing my own craft store, I decided to be a full time mom when my youngest boy was born in 2004. Now that he is in pre-school already and my eldest is in high school, I went back to school and got another course. I am taking units on Education hoping to be a teacher someday and wanting to share this deepest passion on scrapbooking.

I am so glad to be a part of this new blog about US. Let us continue to discover ourselves, share the different experiences and happiness life brings to US and later, scrap about them.

Hello fellow scrappers! My name is Karla Fatula...but everybody calls me Kay. I live in New Jersey and I'm 32 years old and have been married for about 3 years to a great guy (Mark) who not only puts up with this passionate hobby of mine but encourages it.
My 'son' is my furball Toby--a spoiled Maltese pup who is the sunshine of my life & my little friend who loves me unconditionally.
I've loved art & anything creative. However, I got heavily into scrapbooking beginning in 2007. Somehow I ended up being a Quality Analyst instead and working with computers and technology. Took a wrong turn somewhere I guess! So by day I'm a computer geek...by night I get creative & scrap. Talk about double personality!
I'm so very grateful to be part of this team and working with some amazing talent. I'm looking forward to 'scrapping myself' & documenting some of my own legacy for my children to be!

Hello everyone!
I am Ann-Katrin, I am 29 years old and I live in Norway together with my husband, our daughter and our cat.
I have been scrapbooking since 2005 and I just love this hobby!
And I really enjoy the big bonus of this hobby: to meet new people/friends from all over the world.
I am on different Design Teams and I am also a sketch designer.
Did I mention that I love this hobby!
I am a home staying mom and would love to work as a web designer in the future. I also love to take pictures, be outside in our lovely forest and I love to be together with family and friends

Hi Everyone!! I'm Cindy (AKA. Cynthia, Cin Cin or add1cted). I am a SAHM of a wild, beautiful little boy and wife of 9 years to a wonderful guy and we are proud to call Atlantic Canada our home. I have been scrapping for 4+ years, starting shortly after my son was born. Not long after THAT, I discovered the LSS and on-line scrappy community and was HOOKED-this hobby fuels my passion to create and shop alike!!

I am a DIE HARD paper addict. I can never have enough (although, I am sure my husband wouldn't agree). I am THRILLED to be invited to the Scrap Yourself DT and look forward to much inspiration from my team-mates and all of you!

I’m Emma Ruth Fronda from the Philippines! Friends call me Emma or Ems. I’m married to a wonderful man Oliver for almost 10 years. A working mom to 2 precious little girls named Gabrielle Dominique “Gaby” (9 years old) and Alexa Emmanuelle “Alexa” (2 years old), who sneaks at night (and during weekends too) to scrap. My primary purpose in getting myself addicted with scrapbooking in 2003 was to arrange my firstborn's tons of pictures.
The photos keep on piling up especially with the addition of my little girl, Alexa. I seldom create pages about ME since there are so many backlogs of kids' photos to do. I'm glad I'm now part of this great blog challenge, I can scrap about myself for a change!

I'm Debbi Tehrani. I live in Maryland with my husband, Farzad, of 28 years. We have no children, but we have three cats and two bearded dragons. The beardies accompany me to school, where I teach fifth grade.
I've been scrapping for almost a decade. I love telling stories on my pages, so Scrap Yourself is a perfect fit for me! For me, scrapbooking is a creative outlet and a way to capture and celebrate all the random little things that make my life special and meaningful. To me, scrapbooking can be defined by this wonderful quote from Brian Andreas: "These are little scraps of magic & when you paste them together you get a memory of something fine & strong, she said. Sometimes it takes till you're 40 to see it though."
I love the concept of this new challenge blog, and I am so thrilled to be a part of it!

My name is Tanya Munn, I am New Brunswick Canada. I am married to my best friend Roger and we have three beautiful children that we adore.
I have been scrapping for about 6 years and absolutely love it! I find it relaxing and rewarding. I am not sure I can tell you what my style is…I think it varies on my moods. My kids love sitting and browsing through the albums and sharing stories, it is important for me to share the story. I want to share more about myself and Scrap Yourself is perfect for this and I hope to get others doing the same!!

I am a stay at home Mom, run a couple of businesses, have a scrapbooking website which has always been a dream of mine… and I am SO lucky to be able to home school my children!! I enjoy photography and ride a motorbike in my spare time!

My name is Stephanie, I started scrapbooking in Feb '08, attempting a wedding album for my Sister (2 years late, ahem, but who's counting?). I really enjoyed the process and wanted to learn more, so I signed up for an altered album classes and was hooked!

I love getting lost in the process, hands full of paint and ink, and how one creative thought builds on another so naturally. I tell my family, its like Arts and Crafts in my basement EVERY night!
