Scrapping the Journey

The weight-loss journey, that is. I've been struggling with my weight for a long, long time. About a year and a half ago, I joined Weight Watchers for what seems like the millionth time, but I think I'm really going to stick with it this time. It's been a bumpy road, but I'm headed in the right direction, and since it's a really important part of my life, I've decided to scrap my weight-loss journey.

I've done a bunch of pages about different aspects of this journey, and I'll share a few with you here. (Click on the images for a larger view to read the journaling.)

This will be an ever-growing album as I am shrinking. Some pages I plan to make but have not yet scrapped:
* my attempts at exercising
* my Weight Watchers leader
* my favorite Weight-Watchers friendly foods
* the fact that I can now cross my legs!
* other milestones I hit
* a before and after picture

I will share some more pages in a future post. If you're struggling with weight and have begun a weight-loss program, why not start a scrapbook about it? I'd love to hear your thoughts about this topic.

Ohh I love this idea!!!! I am a WW member as well and trying to lose this excess baggage for the millionth time as well.....I never thought of devoting an entire book to my journey.....maybe that will help keep me on track! Thank you so much for the wonderful inspiration :)

You can do it! What a great process to scrap - just wait till you make that "last page" after you've lost the pounds you have set out to lose!! :) I am sure you have inspired lots of people here!! :)

What a great project Debbi! If it should be inspiration, these layouts should be inspiration for you! Keep it as your motivation. The thing you can rely on to take you to the next level. And when you attain your goal, don't stop scrapping the journey! Keep it going! It's like a book, you keep turning the page to see what will happen next! It's a great thing you're doing! I hope you post more!
