I know a lot of us do not like to think about how old we are. But we are what we are. :) This year as I inched even closer to 40 I recorded my thoughts on turning 37. It hasn't been a yearly tradition for me but I have written down my thoughts on past birthdays. It is interesting to see how my perspectives have changed--and stayed the same. How old are you turning this year? Your thoughts on that age? Be sure to write them down--you'll really love looking back on your "young" perspective in 10 or 20 years :)

Melanie, Your work is always so sweet and heartwarming! I bet these LOs are great to look back on!
well my sister just turned 50... and i am next in a couple of years.. i wish i had thought about scrapping my age years ago, but i have always spent more time on doing layouts for the kids..i love this layout, it has a soft feel to it, and what a great idea, because as time goes by, things do leave your mind and you don't remember things as well.. (i don't i know that..) so thanks for the inspiration..xx
