love travel!
I go for 3-4 times of trips every year.

This is a photograph when I went to Wakayama last year.
Wakayama is famous at the area of production  of the orange.
soft serve ice cream using the  orange and the fresh juice were really delicious!！！

And I go for a trip from today.
I take a lot of photographs!!!

Life Worth Living

I feel like it's been a long time since I shared a layout here at Scrap Yourself! But no matter, I am here now to share with you a page about two little people that make my life so much more worth living. 

These are my sweet children. They are my world. They play a very important role in how I live my life. I am forever grateful for their presence. Something that I've taken to trying lately is being in more photos with my children. When they flip through their scrapbooks years from now I want them to know that I was there with them, that I was involved. It is something I have to be conscious of daily, but I don't mind. The rewards are so worth it. 

Friends......

Eleven years ago Caesar moved in with us and became a truly beloved member of our family. He is such a wonderful "old gentleman" with SO much personality. He loves when we take photos of him, of course he doesn't know what a photo is, but he enjoys the attention we pay him in that moment. Caesar is following us as much as possible and sometimes he go to work with my husband, BUT "mommy" is the best ;-D

I created this layout with a photo of Caesar and I sitting in the dunes at the beach in Vorupør where we have our summerhouse.

We have a very special bond and he is a true and 100 % loyal friend to me, 11 years is a high age for a big dog, so I am deeply grateful for every day he is here with us.

HANDSOME BOY

HELLO FRIENDS!

My inspiration for today's layout was my handsome little boy - Vaughn.  He is my everything!  My one and only son.  I added two pieces of "Dusty Attic" chipboard to this page.  One piece is framing his face and another scrolling over top.  I wanted to create a bronzed/distressed finish to the chipboard.  I painted it first with browns, black and bronze.  I then heat embossed it with gold embossing powder.  Here is a few close-ups.  Thank you for stopping by!  Enjoy your day!

The Biz of ARt...

F.Y.I. I tend to be a positive person and yet, Let's be honest-!

There is always a time in our lives that just getting it all done can Be FRUSTRATING... And it feels good to do a page just for your emotions.

This last February, I found myself in this Frustrating place and did a Lay Out based just on that. It was Application season for artists. Arts Festivals and Public Art. I was applying to everything I could and trying to fit the need of each art project I applied for. Feeling pulled in all sorts of directions.

When, Where.... What I will need for product and my booth, travel. Geez, just talking about it gets me going-!

I am far past that now and have a generous schedule to adhere to... Yet- so very excited about the persons I will get to meet this coming season.

Part of the journaling states:

and you will be back on your feet in the right mind set in no time.

Hi there!

Tuesday...and my post day at Scrap your self.

In Mars this year I was at a scrapevent in Karlstad Sweden.

I really loves scrapbooking events, to meet all the people and scrap all day long.

I love all the challenges and of course to shop at all the scrapbooking stores.

This event is from Saturday to Sunday and included a stay at a hotel.

I went there by train together with my dear friend and the next time are already booked...

I have used many techniques for this LO.... transfers, pen and ink.

Such a cute boy

The challenge for this week is to add some birds on our layouts.

So for this challenge I altered some chipboard birds for my layout about my weddingday.

I put some Glossy accent on the birds wings and chalked all the edges.

In this layout you can see a photo of my cute son. He was two years old when my husband and I got married. And he looked so nice and cute with his costume.

So now we want you all, to add some birds on your layout or maybe you can make a layout about birds.

hi friends!!! ive been really focusing on creating our family album as of late,, the bird prompt was perfect for my girl babys pre~school picture. she is such a little bean in my heart and i love her like crazy!!! so this is what i created for the bird prompt,, *baby birdie*, by me, ally*cakes

i used the kits from the pink ninjas for this baby,, the january addiction, *glitter in the air* as well as the april kit *wonderful life*,, so much fun!!!

I've got a giggly personality and love to laugh a lot! I used this candid laughing shot of myself, layered some border punches, and added my favorite - bows! I found a big silver jewelry bow that matched the silver bow on my headband in the photo. I had been waiting for the perfect time to use it.

Favorite Places

Hello to all! Today I want to share a layout I created that is about one of my favorite places:

I love our dining room. I think it is because of all the natural light that comes in from the two large windows. I decided to snap a photo of it when the light was just right. (If you look close, you can see my daughter looking out the window. Funny.) I want to remember things like this. I know we wont live in this house forever, but at least now we can look back 10 years from now and remember this happy place.  Have you scrapped pictures of your home/favorite places where you live? Do you know the feeling of not being properly dressed if you are not using perfume?? I certainly do ;-D I love to change the fragrances now and then but of course I have some favorite fragrances; I really like "Be delicious green apple" from DNKY, but there is one perfume I always go back to and never run out of .....

Boss Woman from Hugo Boss..... I just LOOOVE it.....
